CSRD
Supports Our Sustainable Foundations

As of 2024, European companies are required to report on their environmental, social, and governance impact under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This legislation
demands not only transparency, but demonstrable progress. At Newwen, part of Container Systems B.V., we fully embrace this responsibility. Our mission is built on reuse, efficiency, and collaboration, principles we translate into measurable outcomes aligned with ESG criteria and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

What we’re doing in concrete terms:

• 15% reduction in CO₂ emissions per worked hour by 2029 compared to 2024
• 100% of our product portfolio reusable or recyclable
• Full supply chain transparency through partnerships with suppliers who share our sustainability and ethical standards
• Ongoing monitoring through Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs)
• Safe, fair, and ethical business practices via our Code of Conduct, Supplier Code of Conduct, Modern Slavery Policy, and Whistleblower Policy

For us, sustainability is not a promise, it’s daily practice. We take responsibility. Because it can be better. And it must be.
